first day of Maffetone

Today was my first day of training solely on a Heart Rate Monitor - following Phil Maffetone’s approach ( http://philmaffetone.com/fitness.cfm ) it was as predicted slower on the bike, especially on the little hill home. I will stick to it. Interestingly recovery was much faster and am feeling more alert. Off now to find out how to do hills and stick to the regimen.
